Experience the rich history, breathtaking landscapes, and vibrant culture of the United Kingdom on this unforgettable nine-day journey through Scotland and England. The adventure begins in Edinburgh, where travelers will explore the iconic Edinburgh Castle and enjoy panoramic views of Scotland’s historic capital. The journey continues through Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park, featuring Stirling Castle, picturesque Highland scenery, and a cruise on the tranquil waters of Loch Katrine.

Travel south into England with visits to the renowned Glenkinchie Distillery and the magnificent Alnwick Castle before discovering the medieval charm of York, including York Minster Cathedral and a scenic river cruise. Guests will then experience the storybook beauty of the Cotswolds, Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon, and the historic university city of Oxford.

The final days are spent in London, where world-famous landmarks, cultural experiences, and special Pride of the Southland Band performances create lasting memories. Highlights include performances near Tower Bridge, a panoramic city tour, free time to explore one of the world’s great capitals, and a memorable finale at the ExCeL London Tattoo. Sunday, June 20 –Arrival and start the day with a panorama city tour and a tour of Edinburgh Castle. Free time for lunch and for the rest of the afternoon in this spectacular city. Dinner at the hotel.

Monday, June 21 – Depart the hotel for Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. Travel to Stirling for a visit to Stirling Castle, one of Scotland’s grandest castles. You will also pass by the Wallace Monument which stands facing Stirling and is the location of the Stirling Bridge. Continue to the town of Aberfoyle for free time for lunch and enjoy the Scottish Woolen Centre for a great shopping experience. Travel over the Highland boundary fault into the scenic highlands. Take a cruise on Loch Katrine located in southern Scotland and a part of Scotland’s first National Park. Following the cruise return back to your hotel for free time in Edinburg for dinner.

Tuesday, June 22 – Check out of your hotel and travel south through the countryside to Glenkinchie Distillery, the lowland home of Johnnie Walker. At this charming distillery, you will learn the process of this special whisky, along with a tasting. Afterwards, continue on to Alnwick Castle. Upon arrival, have lunch followed by a visit to Alnwick Castle and its Gardens. It has been home to the Percy family for over 700 years and has also been a part of popular movies such as Harry Potter, Robin Hood and Transformers. Continue your journey to York, a walled city of northeast England that was founded in 71 AD. Free time in York for dinner.

Wednesday, June 23 – Spend the morning enjoying a 1.5 – 2 hour walking tour of the city of York and the fabulous York Minster Cathedral. This magnificent cathedral has been known as the center of Christianity in the north of England since the 7th century. Enjoy a river cruise aboard the Captain James Cook. The cruise will include some informative commentary from your local, knowledgable skipper. Free time for lunch and the afternoon/evening to explore the city and for independent dining.

Thursday, June 24 – After breakfast, travel south to the Cotswolds area, a region of seven towns and medieval villages known for its beautiful scenery and cozy cottages. Upon arrival in Stratford-Upon-Avon (the birthplace of William Shakespeare) enjoy a brief tour and free time for lunch. Following lunch on your own, travel through the Cotswolds visiting Bibury and Bourton-on-the-Water. Continue your journey to the 12th century town of Oxford to check in to your hotel for dinner.

Friday, June 25 – After breakfast, depart the hotel and travel south to London, England’s vibrant capital city. Upon arrival, meet up with the band for a performance at Potters Fields Park (time TBD), where you’ll have the opportunity to share your music with both locals and visitors against the iconic backdrop of Tower Bridge and the River Thames. Following the performance, transfer to your hotel and enjoy dinner together this evening.

Saturday, June 26 – After breakfast, take part in a panorama city tour of London including sites such as Big Ben, The London Eye, Tower of London and Buckingham Palace to name a few. This historic capital is one of the world’s most recognizable cities filled with historic neighborhoods and royal heritage. Have some free time for lunch and some down time this afternoon. Enjoy an evening performance tonight at the ExCeL London with UT’s Pride of the Southland Band! This large exhibition center is one of the largest in UK, located in London’s historic Royal Docks.
