UTFI GDPR Consent

The UT Foundation collects, stores, and uses personal information only for secure and legitimate purposes that directly support the primary missions of the University of Tennessee, including communicating about upcoming events and news from campus; seeking feedback by conducting surveys and research; and engaging alumni and supporters through volunteer activities and philanthropic efforts.


By filling out the information in the GDPR Consent form and clicking “I consent,” you consent to the University of Tennessee and the University of Tennessee Foundation and any and all subsidiaries, affiliates, related brands, successors or assigns of any such entity (collectively referred to as “UT affiliates”) storing and processing your personal data, including your name, phone number, email address, etc. for the purpose of remaining in contact with you about the University of Tennessee and/or the UT affiliates (collectively, “UT”), including UT events and opportunities to support and stay connected with UT. You further consent to receive all calls, texts, mail, emails and any other correspondence from the UT affiliates. You have the choice whether to consent to the activities described herein. Should you refuse to grant consent, there will be no adverse consequences; however, you will no longer receive communication of any form from UT affiliates.

UT affiliates may provide your personal data to third parties from time to time. Any arrangement to share your data with a third party will be subject to a formal agreement between UT affiliates and that organization to protect the security of your data.

Your consent is voluntary and can be withdrawn at any time with effect for future disclosures by visiting the UT Foundation Privacy Statement at https://alumni.tennessee.edu/privacy/ and following the instructions provided therein.
