Dear Tennessee Traveler:
Welcome to our NEW web site. We are so excited to be able to feature the UT Alumni Association Tennessee Traveler’s program on-line. This site is your one-stop shop for all things travel! In addition to information about our tours, you will find valuable on-line travel resources and on-line photo albums of past trips.
We are excited to announce our 2009 tours. You are invited to join in the official unveiling on July 18, 2008 at the 2009 Tour Preview Event, Crowne Plaza in Knoxville!
Once again we have partnered with the leaders in the alumni tour industry to offer 30 educational trips across the world. For 38 years, your alumni association has been delivering first-class trips to our alumni and friends. In 2009, we are averaging nearly three departures a month. Our 30 tours represent the most ever offered by the UTAA. We know our alumni and friends love to travel.
As usual the UTAA continues a strong relationship with Alumni Holidays and Thomas P. Gohagan and Company. These two travel partners consistently provide our alumni and friends with first-class educational based trips with first-class service all over the world. These two companies have provided alumni tours for nearly a century. We are proud to call these two companies true UTAA partners. Evidence is found in the number of wonderful trips and services provided by our tour providers, and in the number of repeat travelers.
Our newest partner is Go Next. They have offered unique and affordable priced programs for more than 35 years. We have selected a wonderful itinerary of Rome and Florence in conjunction with Maryville College to offer in 2009. We look forward to our new partnership with Go Next.
For those of you who are looking for a unique culinary experience, you might want to read about our Cruise of the Western Mediterranean in September. Dede Wilson, contributing editor for Bon Appetit and national television shows including CBS This Morning and the Today show on NBC, will be on board for three lectures on the foods of the Mediterranean and will host cooking demonstrations with the Executive Chef of the Le Diamant.
There is no doubt after reviewing the listings you will be ready to make a reservation. To do so, just contact our office at 865-974-3011 or e-mail us!
Bon Voyage!
