About the UTAA

Welcome to the Family!

Yes, the University of Tennessee Alumni Association is a family, with more than 300,000 members living in all 50 states and in more than 130 countries.  The association is the umbrella organization dedicated to serving former students from the four major campuses and three institutes that comprise the University of Tennessee.

The mission of the Tennessee Alumni Association is straightforward…to provide an opportunity for graduates, current and former students, and friends to affiliate with as well as support the university throughout their lives.

There are many ways to be an active member of the UTAA family.  If you are looking for an opportunity to:

  • Network with UT grads in your area or in your field of work
  • Maintain contact with friends, former classmates and professors
  • Access career guidance and services available at the university
  • Participate in continuing education opportunities and programs
  • Assist the university in student recruitment or legislative relations
  • Take part in educational group travel opportunities
  • Attend pre-game events and receptions in conjunction with University of Tennessee athletic events
  • Have access to affinity programs and alumni discounts
  • Attend reunions and homecomings

Then we are the place for you.  We are your alumni association, here to serve you in a variety of ways.  To help us serve you, it is important to keep your contact information up-to-date so you will receive information about UTAA events, programs and services, as well as about the university as a whole.
